Description

This is a study of the traditional Old Master Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. (The reference image which got me started was here: [link]). Yes, there was some interpretation on my part. It was spurred by :iconazurelle.deviantart.com: and her tutorial in Painter magazine - [link] .

Tools: oil and chalk pastels got it started; Corel Painter X, Photoshop used for finish.
