Final Fantasy - Sephiroth

This was the Final Fantasy character I alluded to a while back.

Once upon a time, there used to be what was called the "One Pencil Challenge". An art teacher, if he/she wanted to see what a student could do, would give the student a single pencil and see what they could do with it. After assigning one wiseacre student this task, he challenged me to do the same thing. So I did.

However, I had to modify it slightly because I was using a Prismacolour wax pencil for this task and I had no eraser on the end of it. Consequently, I had to use Ruben invisible tape to erase my mistakes while working through this one.

The result: a fan art of Sephiroth (i.e., he of Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy/etc. fame. (Sephiroth is a copyright character of Square Enix.)

Time: Approximately 9 hours (on and off).

Tools: one black Prismacolour wax pencil, tape (for erasing), fingers for blending. No different pencils, graphite dust, tortillons. paper towels, kleenexes. (And, boy, I am glad I got it is finally done!)
